Mexico

Lamb Taco

When I rode to the border, going into Mexico was a hot mess. They did not even look too hard at stuff, they did not even ask for my passport. In fact, they did not even tell me to do any paperwork, they just waved me pass. Little did I know you can go in and out of Mexico on the Baja side for 7 days with no documentation. Well they will check passport when you re-enter, but you do not need the visa for yourself or your bike if you have your USA passport; which they did not need to see when I went through. My host was just by the border, she showed me around town and local spots.

I had to go back to the entry point and get my proper documentation for importing the bike as well as my personal visa. When I got back there, I realize that the office was immediately after the gate that they waved me through, you have to almost double back to get to the place for paperwork. It was wack, but definitely a huge loophole for getting screwed later, when I do not have the paperwork in the later border. I stayed there for a few days and even attended a boxing class with my host. Then I was on my way south to Ensenada. Tijuana is a very sketchy border town to say the least. The roads are absolute disaster in 2018. I do not know what it is now, but when I was there, there are tons of game ender potholes everywhere. I was only hoping that the next town is better.
